Urangan Harbour...

Well, we were very chuffed to have got all the
way up the Great Sandy Strait without touching the bottom but perhaps we were
feeling a little too smug as we managed to find a sand bank in Hervey Bay
near the entrance to Urangan Harbour which wasn't appearing on our
chart (or so the Navigationer insists)... Luckily, the Skipper got us off
quite quickly and inching forward very carefully we found our way into
the Harbour without any further ado.
As it was Roger's Birthday, we treated ourselves to
a couple of nights in the Marina, enjoying the local Hostelries and
Restaurants and even managed to squeeze in another round of Golf (with
more Kanagaroos skipping about).
Having had our Supermarket fix plus completed the
obligatory Laundry runs, filled up with water, gas & diesel, we are now
ready for the next leg...
