Another busy day. Up for 0700 to prep boat for CSA measurement at 0900. This included lifting all the floorboards to remove canned food. As board up cleaned the mess in there out then fresh water washed them. The measurer, Tony, turned up on time and we spent 2 hours measuring lots to get the rating. Now wait for measurement certificate as payment has been made.

Damien the boat cleaner came back polishing lots. The one area I have always thought dirty was the cockpit and he has done a great job on it. It is ashame that we are going to get it all messy again when we go racing next week.

Bought a new float switch for the aft bilge pump, all works great now.

A long chafe guard put on the No2 Reefing line. Having run it through the system may jam, so will add more whipping to see if can stop step change in diameter and then will run better past tight turning blocks.

The removed canned food from earlier have now been taken out of plastic bags, dried if wet and put in boxes. We have 26 days of food available for return trip, probably have to do a slight restock on way back in the Azores. 4 days food has also been made available for the Caribbean 600 which will hopefully be enough.

We are hoping to get some storage for the food, sea anchor, empty fuel cans and water, engine start battery. May find out later today or in the morning.

Engine ran today to find leaks, oil and fuel. Nothing found so no point getting an engineer in if nothing identifiable to fix. These will be ongoing inspection items.

Almost time for a Rum Punch. The one we had yesterday best I have had.
