Over 24 hours at sea and only 1 hour without the engine running. By the forecast we suspect at least another 24 hours of motoring. We may have had more wind earlier going north but some forecasts are indicating 40+ knot gusts so we are hopefully taking a less windy route.

We have picked up a few faults already, none fixed.
1. Small engine oil leak, so far unable to identify where from as running pulley belts putting me off investigating some areas. When engine was off, too hot to get hands in tight spots,
2. No 1 injector appears to have developed a minor fuel leak. When paper towel put around it does not drip, heat may have stopped it.
3. When engine off and isolator off the engine battery is draining. Will disconnect items as required when we switch engine off when wind arrives and investigate where problem is.
4. Starboard bow navigation light not working appears fault in light unit, unable to remove presently. Will operate masthead tricolour instead with engine propelling us along which is against regulations.

John enjoying having a bunk to sleep in and gets to be off watch too. Had a little bit of sun today and light shower, also cooler than expected with no prospect of getting warmer for a week, 16-18C.

Dinner this evening will consist of last of fresh bread, cheese, Meatballs in gravey, peas, carrots and mash. Fruit will be sliced peaches in juice.
