Just a quick note to say that we made it across the Bay of Biscay in one piece but it was far more arduous than anticipated. The weather had not looked perfect but certainly doable. However every day an unexpected series of vicious lows including the tail ends of hurricanes Irene and Katya hit us. Arnamentia handed everything very well but the crew took a battering. More detail when we've dried out and mended the odd broken thing or two - all to do with IT and Comms!
