Another rough night

ALICE'S ADVENTURES
ANDREW AND CELIA SHARPE
Mon 29 Nov 2010 12:24
We had a very rough day yesterday and a rough night
again. We saw more flying fish and several of them landed on the
boat. One landed in the cockpit. George the 6'3" tall deckhand stood
on the seat and refused to touch it. What a wuss! Chris came to
the rescue and threw it back overboard. It was the only fish that has been
landed so far!
As usual for us the wind is on the nose! The choice was
between going south east and back towards the Cape Verdes or carrying on a
westerly course but also going slightly north again. We settled for the
latter. The wind has already died down to about 15 knots but the swell is huge
and the sea state very confused.
The drawer below the settee fell out and broke its
runners and is now tied on in the middle of the saloon.
Apparently Celia had put too much in it!!
