At about half past nine we motored out of the anchorage. We where going to the next marina along, so it only took us one and a half hours to get there. We didn’t get any Dolphins and we didn’t put any lines out as the coast of Sicily and the Messina straits are famous for there huge swordfish and big fish like the tuna, these fish come down the straits of Sicily and Sardinia in the summer. Some villages have parades because of the tuna are very tasty fish, the blue fin tuna is two hundred pounds per kilogram! Not one part of the Bluefin tuna is wasted, the bones, tail and head are all used in stew! Scientists have predicted that in ten years time the Bluefin tuna will dye out!

When we had marina we had our lunch up in the cockpit as it was hot and sunny. It can sometimes be hard when you tie up in the marina as there can sometimes be winds that blow you onto pontoons or currants which also aren’t useful. After lunch we just stayed on the boat and we simply relaxed, we have to have the air conditioning on lots as it gets so hot the temperature sometimes reaches thirty five degrees!

After a hot afternoon in the sun we had some dinner up stairs as the air was getting cooler again. When we had eaten our dinner, I went into my cabin and I read my book until I had to have a shower in the small back bathroom. After my shower I decided to read a little bit more of my book, because I had almost finished it all.
