Today at 8 O’clock in the morning we had to say goodbye to our friend Iain. After Dad had checked out we set sail to Torrevieja. When we had been sailing for about three hours and I had undone the fenders and opened the sea cocks, Harry was sick on the floor, luckily Catrin, Mum, Dad and I were all quite a way away from him so know one was covered in Harry’s sick. When we had gone round a corner we all had lunch, after we had all finished Dad spotted a long black thing, we turned the engine of as we thought it was a whale. But we soon realised it was a pipe, a very long and strangely shaped pipe. When I first saw it I thought it was a killer whale, Dad saw one once when he was sailing from France to Portugal, he said that when he saw it it was exactly in the pipes position. Whilst sailing past the pipe we had to be very careful and we had to make sure it didn’t go under the boat, if it did it would probably brake the Rudder.

After about one hour we were sailing into the marina, I went with Dad to check in. The Marina was massive and held over 1000 boats, it took ages to work from where we were moored to the Captinaria, where we had to chec in with our passports and ships papers. The door that led into the marina office was rubbish as it always got stuck. It took ages to check in as the lady had to right all our passport numbers down and then Dad had to pay and then sign a form about the boat. Whilst he did this Catrin and I talked and we then went to get a glass of water from one of them water machines Catrin loved it as when you let go of the blue handle bubbles went up to the surface, it also made a very funny noise.

When we had checked in and we were safely on board the boat,I had to close the sea cocks and look after Catrin while Mum and Dad moored the boat up. It was tea time so Mum had to make the tea, After tea we watched some films that Catrin liked again the film was called Cars Toon. When the film had finished it was bed time as it was half eight.
