Today on the 16th of April we woke up at 8 o’clock and wrote our blog.

Today was washing day, Dad took all our washing (6 loads) to the Laundrette
as we were starting to run out of clothes. Mum and Dad scrubbed the boat
from top to bottom whilst we played down stairs and di our homework. We
scrubbed the teak wood that runs down the side as it was dirty. Catrin
helped scrub the top. Mum and Dad had to use handbrushes to get rid of all
the dirty rain marks. Once the boat was clean they scrubbed it again with a
wash and wax so it will hopefully be easier to wash next time.

We then decided to walk and look around, the first thing we saw was a small
play ground next to a boat servicing place. We played in the played in the
play ground for a little while, we played a game on a aeroplane seesaw and a
train. Also I played on the obstacle cores when we had finished we had to
walk some more.

On the walk we saw the shop Eroski but we didn't buy any thing also we saw
lots of cafes and toy shops, and a bait and tackle shop. The weirdest thing
we saw was a painting with tiny arms and skinny knees Katie and I thought it
was really funny. We then went to find Mum a hat, the bad news was we
couldn't find one so we kept on looking for one there was no luck so, we
then decided to have an Ice-cream. We didn't get a ice-cream because we had
them on the boat so we went back to the play in the play ground and kept on
playing the game we were playing.

After we had our ice creams and Dad had collected the washing we moved the
boat onto to buoy as it was cheaper than the Marina and we can then use the
dinghy to get to town easier. We are now moored on a buoy with some
catamarans . We could have moored on the town quay but everyone looks in
your boat and also the dust from the side blows around.

Once we had attached our selves to the buoy we had tea and went to bed.

Bad News- when we woke up this morning it had rained in the night and now
the boat is covered in red dust!!!!
