Today on the 17th of I woke up at 9 o’clock and had my breakfast then wrote our blog. We then got changed and put our life jackets on to practice our man over board with a fender, that was a spare one. I thought that we were sailing to anchor next to a beach, that did not happen as we had to do our man over board. First we had to throw the fender over the side of the boat then we had to push the man over board button, which puts an alarm on. Next we had to put the gennoa sail in and turn on the engine. Katie pointed at the fender and I had to look after Catrin, we did man over board three times. The last time we sailed up to the fender and Mum hooked it up. We also know how to turn the engine on and use the VHF radio.

After we had done our man over board we sailed to an anchorage near a dirty beach and a beach that looked brown.  We decided to anchor which  didn’t take long, after that, we went to the beach so we go out all our wet suits and put them on as well as our rash vests, then we packed all our toys and towel's.

The bay we have anchored is very different, on the south side it has lovely houses down to beaches but on the North Side it has high rise hotels which look awfull. We have taken some photos.

When we arrived we saw yellow buoys, which means dingy’s allowed near the beach, because dingy engines might whack people on the head. We then arrived and Katie and I went snorkelling. I said that a stick is my grandma then we played planting for a vegetable competition, then it was time to go. When we got back to the boat we had to wash all the sand off everything. Once we had finished our jobs and had a cookie it was tea time so we had tea and we watched a film (cloudy with a chance of meat balls) then we went to bed.
