Today at ten O’clock we set sail to Formentera. On the way it was quite chilly as the wind was cold and strong. On the sail we didn’t see any dolphins but we could see the bottom of the turquoise sea, the bottom of the sea wasn’t very shallow at all it was only about twelve metres, on one of our sails the depth was over one thousand metres deep!

On the journey we sailed with the main sail and the Genoa. The journey took us three hours, on the  journey I learnt how to find out were you are with out a GPS navigator but instead with a hand-bearing compass, a ruler, a chart and a pencil.

When we had arrived at the the bay, we anchored and had lunch. Whilst we were having lunch a boat came came and anchored up right next to us, Daddy got cross because the other boat had lots more space to anchor in. When we had cleared away the lunch Mummy spotted a dolphin in the bay! It stayed in the bay for quite a while. As soon as we had cleared everything away Catrin, Harry and I all got ready to go to the beach.

When we were all ready and Daddy had filled up the water tanks and fixed the water maker we got into our dingy and went to the beach. As soon as we had driven the dingy to the beach Harry and I went snorkelling in the sea whilst Catrin built went sand-castles. When Harry and I were snorkelling I saw a saw a small light gingery fish. When we had played in the sea we built a sand village and a sand car. Harry was the sand car’s driver. After playing in the sand car we decided to go back to the boat to get tea and to have showers as we were completely covered in sand. When we got home we all had showers before tea.

When we were having tea there was a power boat moored near us playing loud music. The people were dancing and videoing themselves. They were also singing really loudly and really badly.

When Mummy had made the chilly for tea and we had eaten it, we got ready for bed and then watched another DVD. When the DVD had finished we went to bed as it was nine O’clock.
