After two days in Horta we are ready to go, Sail repaired and hopefully wind
meter working. Boat provisioned with fresh food. The trip to the Azores was
quick. 13 days 18 hours, we are hopeful for the next leg. Weather looking
good for two days from the south, then a front will pass over us, increasing
the winds, then into a new system with northerly winds
We have been joined by brother Giles, for his first long distance crossing,
so he will be in heavy training for the first few days, so he can join the
watch system.
Horta has been a good stop but the weather poor, we managed to hit the bars
and restaurants hard.
Apparently Palma is 28 degrees...so we are motivated.
