Repaired and off

The afternoon for the repaired Lewmar motor turned out to be 5 p.m. but the
unit looked in very good shape when inspected by Bart & Lyster. As ever
wrestling it back into the small space from whence it came turned out to be
a bit more problematic than we would have liked. However after an hour or so
and a drill, a file, some of Lyster's spare washers, etc. it was done.
Better than that it was working and sounding just like its old self. None of
the internal parts had been damaged; the over-heat safety mechanism had
worked and the inside was now cleaned and polished.
Too late to go then, so we are posting this early and getting ready to leave
very shortly at first light. And good luck to all who sail in her.
