I hope now that our position is coming up on the blog, I have been working
through the night on the software issued on Truant and have now fixed the
problem I hope...

We are making our way to Lisbon to re-fuel Truant. Due to a high weather
system we have been motoring for some time now. The good news is that we are
well rested and enjoying the trip, we are now out of our foul weather gear
as is seems much warmer. We hope to be in Lisbon tomorrow morning for a
Formula One style refuelling and then if the weather is good go on to Gran
Canaria.

Mes Amigos

Our Commander has yet again triumphed in the face of adversity. Toiling
tirelessly and with no regard for his own well-being he has discovered the
cause of the positioning fault. Indeed, with no mysterious tracking device
on board it appears that telling someone of our position is quite helpful.

Yesterday involved cleaning ourselves to keep the seagulls away , vintage
champagne courtesy of Paul, poker with high stakes and then sausage and
mash, all in all a rather pleasant day on the high seas. Just as things seem
to be settled we have decided to fiddle and now are setting about taking
various parts of the boat to pieces with mixed results, Paul 'the
electrician' has correctly spotted some broken bulbs. And we are about to
go round in circles again in order to re-set the auto-helm, it seems that
staying on course for more than two days is just not the done thing, perhaps
we are expecting too much.
