Making reasonable progress in variable winds which are still very much
behind us. The Galley Slave has to work on a bouncing slant but at least the
cooker is gimballed & we get to eat. We had several large squalls during the
night and could see lines of them tracking alongside us a few miles away as
well. The radar picks them up but also the moon is very bright (full
tonight) so night visibility is excellent. We had two cargo ships within 8
miles or so of us yesterday, so shipping is increasing as we get closer in.
Must be careful not to hit Barbados on our way in.
