After another boisterous day and night, conditions finally improved by this
morning. There's still a bit of a swell of course, but we can now goose-wing
again & head back on course. We've been clinging on since midday Thursday so
it is big relief. We've never had sustained period of such bad conditions or
so much water over the aft of the boat. Things are now getting back to
cruising mode: scrambled eggs for breakfast; bread-maker on; water-making
underway; and Lyster has deployed an array of sponges and absorbers, to get
rid of some of the salt. We will be in later than planned but with about 840
miles to run, we're feeling better now. And the sun is shining.
