Half way, no party

We had another tough night last night with wind consistently 30 knots plus,
up to 38 (Force 8); as a consequence of the high winds the sea is now quite
rough & confused with 20 to 25 foot waves. It is uncomfortable on board and
from time to time a wave breaks over the port stern quarter & some water
gets into the cockpit, which is unusual for Truant. We're still heading too
far south & practicing our Portuguese. Expecting better conditions on
Monday, so, although we are over half way, the party is postponed until
later.
