640 miles to go.Too easy to anticipate ones arrival! Must still find 6 more lunches and suppers.Bread/ Toast and marmalade for breakfast as muesli almost gone.Bread mixes have so far been excellent .
Well I guess one goes on a trip like this to get new experiences ....and I am not referring to carnal knowledge with BF. Last night we went through an Atlantic gale,or so I thought, our all knowledgeable Capitain tells me 35 + knots isn't quite enough but plenty for me.Katika was reefed down to a small foresail and behaved impeccably for an old lady- sedate,a bit wobbly and lots of moaning and groaning.
This morning everything looks better in the daylight and the sunshine. It is gusting 25 knots ,I can see a double rainbow and we are pushing on well.
We heard that an all girl crewed boat- girls for sail- was going to pass quite close to us but they seem to have given us a wide berth.I wonder why?? I haven't seen a boat for days.I presume they are all tucked up in Rodney Bay.
Anyone still reading this drivel ,thank you.
A bientot,
Packer
