Dissappointingly the expected winds have not set in despite motoring for 20hrs. We have used quite a lot of fuel so the current plan is to go to Cape Verde Island to refuel and set off from there. This shouldn't set us back too much!!
The lack of wind gave us a perfect opportunity to carry out extensive ablutions. Imagine if you will 3 naked men throwing Atlantic water over each other(only one squealed), soaping up and then rinsing off with salt water and then fresh water.We all felt much better for this even though George and I felt it was a little premature!
Morale remains high and breakfast was sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs.
The sun is out and it is definitely hotter.
