It has been quite a while since our last report and have been seeing and doing many things in Vava’u

After Rick departed, on his way back to not so sunny Melbourne, we had some awesome days for kite boarding so we anchored most nights in Port Maurelle and did the quick 45 minute trip over to Mounu.  We were lucky enough to get in three great days so plenty of progress was made but there is still plenty more to come!!!

Our new crew, Bruce and Gina joined us on the 25th July but unfortunately their luggage had a different idea about its holiday location but luckily it did turn up the next day so no biggie although it was fun trying to locate thongs and undies in Neiafu Smile

We took Bruce and Gina to all our favourites and they certainly enjoyed the highlights of Tonga on their stay including an awesome day with Beluga Dive swimming with the whales.
They were very lucky to meet up with an overly friendly whale and Bruce did a great job of taking some excellent footage of their Friendly Whale Encounter – to check it out go to the following link

We have just arrived back into Neiafu for Bruce and Gina’s last night on the boat before they head over to join their friend Tony on the yacht ‘Tactical Direction’ which is currently tied up in Port Denarau in Fiji awaiting their arrival.

For us our time in Tonga is almost at an end and we are now starting to look for weather window for us to head off on our next adventure up to Samoa.
In the meantime it is looking like the weather might be shaping up for a couple of days of kite boarding before we depart so fingers crossed yet again.
