Looks like the weather gods are being kind to us and we have a weather window that will allow us to head east to Tonga.

We will be clearing customs tomorrow morning, throwing off the lines, through the Navula Passage, around Kadavu Island leaving it to port and then onto Nukalofa – the capital of Tongatapu which is the most southern Island of Tonga.
The passage is around 500NM and we hope to be arriving Tuesday afternoon.
The other interesting part of the trip is that we cross over into the western half of the hemisphere although they have arranged the date line so the date doesn’t change on the passage but the clocks do move forward another hour.

The boat jobs are all done although we are hoping that it all goes smoothly as the shake down trip since we got put back into the water on Saturday was a short trip to the fuel dock and then onto the berth at Vuda (which is around 200mts in total!!) although everything seems to be working fine.

Will try to do a couple of position reports on our travels and will report in once we have settled and cleared into Tonga.
