It is now 0300 hrs my watch has just started after 6hrs of difficult sleep with the boat rolling quite a lot its abit like somebody lifting your bed up either side every few seconds so that you roll one way and then another. But we shouldn't complain this is the trades 18/25 knts of breeze straight behind us giving speeds from 7 to 8.7knts,the wind pilot is coping brilliantly to keep us on a south of east course.

This afternoon after days sailing another Jeanneau 45 called BACCUS appears about 1nm off our port side that is incredible.

Everybody on board is now developing the sailors rolling gait when they walk.By the way our daily run was 160 nm we should improve on this as we go futher west, but the twin headsails and the hydrovane are working out well.Watch this space we want 170nm.

Jenny decided to have a lie down on the port side in the saloon chris asked if she wanted a Lee Cloth to hold her in place which she declined until she fell on the floor 2 min later She is now tucked in with a lee cloth.

We live and learn.
