It is now 06.30 I have just started my 0600 to 0900 watch the dawn is breaking through, the fishing line is deployed, one of the more knowledgeable fisherman of our group, actually he is 12 yrs old and a real font of knowledge, told me that the fish feed at dawn and dusk,so I'm putting it to the test.Having caught nothing yesterday and the Dorado that got away the day before. Its a good job we have a fresser on board otherwise we would be in for a lean time.

The day has started in its normal mode in brilliant sunshine,I thought I'd put that in as the temperatures in the UK are near freezing so it looks like another day in paradise, but what we need is some wind to push us across the Atlantic otherwise it will take forever. At the moment the wind is SW 7knts which is not helpful.

With the engine running at 1500rpm we are making 5knts 120nm per day we really need to be on 150nm per day to make Antigua in time for my flight home Hakuna Matata.

Well the decisions today will be what to have for Lunch, and Dinner which is served in the cockpit around the table with a camping light to see by and a glass of wine or perhaps a Gin and Tonic but never the two. That's all for now
