Hi Folks,

Firstly apologies for taking sooo long to update - would have thought we'd
have so much time on our hands but the days just melt away!

Anyway after a brisk sail from St. Lucia to Bonaire we managed to cross in
2.5 days as opposed to the predicted 3 days so a night entry into Harbour
Village Marina which turned into a little drama, but with the help of Frank
on 'Valentine' moored on the fuel birth for the night. Caught a Wahoo (fish)
on the crossing so traditional fish and chip super - yummy.

So been in Bonaire for 5 days now, 3 of which were taken up learning to
SCUBA (open water cert) which is amazing here - apparently the 3rd best
SCUBA place in the world and so accessible (just walk in from the beach).
Following which, with the help of Jack & Tim from 'Dreams Come True' managed
to get a great deal on some second hand equipment so full ready now to
explore the underworld.

Been great here and met great people (Dawn / Kelly sorry for not managing to
tie-up and hope the rest of the vacation goes well) and of course the
typical boat party [managed to squeeze 14 on the cockpit seat!]. We'd really
like to stay another week, but Cartagena in Columbia is calling, hence just
about to set-off on a 3-day day to explore the old city and check-out the
nightlife.

We will try much harder to do regular updates, but hope some of the photos
give a taste of what we're up to.

Love P&T
Xx
