what we wanted, not! After navigating the shallow channel we finally got
into Catamaran marina at circa 9:30am, sun shining nicely. Immediately went
on the beer which latest all day of course and well into the evening whilst
exploring the local nightlife - it's a nice lively place!
Marina and Antigua full of massive expensive gorgeous mainly US yachts -
we're probably one of the smallest cheapest boats in the place and most are
operated by crews (70 footer opposite has a crew of 9 + chef) - already
being asked how we managed with just the 3 of us!
OK party day over now and facing the reality of spending 2-3 days of
cleaning, polishing, washing and general repairs to ensure she's fit for our
return to the UK next week, unless we can find some unsuspecting attractive
bilge babe to lend a hand (and there were plenty around the marina's last
night) - um that'll be my next job then.
