Wow been an intense couple of days - steaming along with good F4-5 winds on
a run - average 7.9kts last night, following yesterday at 7.1kts and a peak
speed of 11+ kts - needless to say were still well in the front of the PART
yachts - closest (Wolfhound) is circa 50nm behind, furthest (Ameile) is
700nm behind [though suspect they are heads down at night]. With the strong
winds has come quite a few heavy squalls, but who cares when the rain is
warm!!

Based on that performance we're predicting getting to Antigua early Friday
morning, although marina doesn't open till 8am so may need to play around
for a few hours. Irrespective beers and champers going in the fridge later
today ready for a well-earned alcohol based breakfast / elevenses / lunch /
afternoon tea and evening meal - last man standing!

Gunna be weird seeing land / getting off after 18 days at sea - almost want
to carry on! Still fishing, though with not much luck (keep losing our
weights and lures). Still had a flying fish hit me the other day - though it
escaped before I could get hold of it and put it in the frying pan.

Its flippin hot - forgot how hot Caribbean was - Paul P generally sleeping
on deck as very uncomfortable at night - having said that am I really
complaining - how's the weather in Old Blighty umm? OK time for a bacon
sarnie. Update when were there if still sober!

Cheers
Paul, Kev & Paul
