We moved the short distance from Tobago Cays to Chatham Bay on Union Island – only an hour and a half.

Chatham Bay is a lovely secluded anchorage (our favourite in this area) but with a couple of bars in shacks on the long beach that offer drinks (and barbeques if you order in advance).

It’s actually a bit of a relief after being buffeted around at high tide at Tobago Cays. It is relatively very calm. Hopefully we will sleep a bit better, as last night was quite disturbed by wind and rolling.

The benefit, however, was that the high tides are accompanied (caused) by a very full moon, so we have wonderful almost daylight conditions at night.
