An uneventful (for once!) motor sail down the Spanish coast to an anchorage at Cala Guorgel – a few miles east of Cartegena – The south easterly wind was blowing directly into all the potential anchorages so we chose one in a small cove with a fish farm across the entrance but with just enough room to enter the cove. The swell from the wind continued all night which meant a fairly uncomfortable night rolling around in our bunks. Set against this was the quiet and pretty location with no other boats.
