We up anchor and go round to the fuel pontoon, noticing with concern that during the night one of the small boats in the bay seems to have dragged its anchor and is aground on its side on the breakwater. Not good. We call the authorities to inform them. Other than saying that they are not permitted to be there (!?) the authorities seem very unconcerned.

We refuel at the CESPA pontoon (at half the uk price) and moor in the Marina Bay. Couple of approaches in the strong wind, but no probs and straight in between a Fairline and a Beneteau. For the first time we are bow to the pontoon, so we have the first outing of the bow ladder, which works a treat.

J and L go to Morrisons. P and S replace the water filter which is back in situ and working perfectly, Richard will be pleased to hear. We also grapple with the washing machine. It is removed and we go in search of parts and S contrives an ingenious fix, but it still doesn't work. We defrost the freezer and prepare it for the restocking. I secure S and L's toilet.

The raiding party return and re-stock fridge and freezer for the next leg of the journey, Marmite, marmalade and Bran Flakes included.

Beer and a curry round off the evening after a walk round the town, which is shabbier and less interesting than expected.
