Rounded Cape Finistere in benign conditions over night.

Arrived at around 8:30 AM and made our way past the floating shell fish rafts and early morning fishermen, anchoring to the North of the port.

Once we had freshened up we used the dinghy to motor into the harbour, tied up safely with James' rigging wire strop, and enjoyed lunch in the small sunny square. A couple of cold beers and excellent Calamari with Peppers Patron.

The village is very pleasant, with narrow car-free back streets and we walked a short way up a steep hill to the church overlooking the bay.

After visiting two local Ferreterias (iron mongers) and getting some parts for the water filter - and resisting buying the world's best and biggest adjustable spanner - we squeezed in another cold beer and returned to the boat to eat on board.
