Woke up to fog this morning. Difficult to see the entrance to the bay. Not a good idea to go anywhere today, so we decided to row ashore again and have a look around.
We visited the Castle and walked round the village. It was sunday, and asthis is not an out and out tourist spot not much was open. We had a high calorie pasty for lunch and en wandered back to the beach.
I went for a run to try to put some strength back into my legs after so long on the boat. The run took me out on a grand promenade, with fancy balustrade and bicycle track and new paving... And a lovely view of the refinery. European money and frankly completely pointless. No-one is going to promenade down to a refinery on a summer's evening.
J swam back to the boat and we ate on board.
