So suddenly, land in sight!

Sunday morning we (Erik) suddenly saw land in the horizon. Strange feeling, but of course joy and curiosity was in the atmosphere at Spirit. After 16 nights and almost 16 days we sailed towards high green islands, found the bay where we aimed –on Hiva Oa and put in our two ancors. One in the front and one at the aft, to be really sure we are still.

 

Although our bodies are tired after too little good sleep and being in the warm climate, I think our minds are in a very relaxed shape. Being out in the nature for days and nights with a beautiful unbroken horizon for your eyes has been very pleasant and I belive restoring for your mind and soul.

What’s most important come clear to you:

-Health, water, love, care, sleep, food, toilet and to aim somewhere!

 

And we all got our wishes full-filled!
A beautiful swim, stillness, silence and dinner ashore.
