Motor-sailed
around to Rinca Island for hopefully a more "in the wild" Dragon
experience.
Motored the
yacht a mile or two up the narrow river in the mangroves and anchored on the
last bend 100m from the Ranger Station. Guests and crew went ashore for the hike
into Dragon country and weren't dissapointed. Pulled anchor at sunset and
escaped unscathed from the narrow river to find a very strong mooring a couple
of miles outside the river mouth, close to land where we could hear the monkeys
squabbling all night. Otherwise a very peaceful and pleasant place to spend the
night,
