Monday 27th April - As of midnight day-4 we were at position 4:13.10S 95:43.67W

We sailed all through the night and have not stopped, with the tow generator working over time it means we can kick back and watch one of the 70 or so DVD’s I bought in the Galapagos. Infact it means we can pretty much watch as many as we like.

In the afternoon as I came up onto the deck I spotted a huge pod of whale’s. There must have been at least 15 in the gang. As I studied a little closer it appeared to be three families traveling together. They were all Pilot whales, I think, similar to the family that greeted us in La Corunna on the west coast of Spain at the beginning of the voyage. The parents watched their young carefully as they swam up to the back of the boat and as each of the smaller members took turns in studying the tow generator my personal whale attracting device. It was a wonderful sight to have so many amazing creatures swim along with us.

We have still caught no fish and I am starting to wonder if there are actually any fish in the Pacific. I hope we catch some soon or I am going to be very very thin by the time I get to the other side.
