Monday 6th April - As of midnight day-3 we were at position 4:13.96N 81:29.99W

The Tormenter – No fish hear however Sharks and Rays a plenty. It is suppressing how many sharks we see, we have seen many lonesome fins glide by and every evening we watch manta rays jump out of the water and do flip’s.

Another day of great wind after it sprung up around midnight, only once again to be becalmed in the doldrums, the biggest issue we have is that after spending a week in the Las perlas islands our diesel reserve is down to 40 Liters and we can not afford to motor, anyhow there is no way we could motor all the way to the Galapagos as it is still another 600 miles away. There for this night we sat out on deck with the sails down bobbing up and down in the vast ocean sipping a glass of Gin and Tonic. Once we were tired we just went to bed and did not rise until 6:30 AM. We still had no wind so on went the engine and off we went.
