We pulled up our
anchor Tuesday 13th of January, 2009 at 08:12 and
headed for Portsmouth, Dominica 15:34.95N 61:27.84W
Portsmouth was great
it is a place that is not quite up to speed with the rest of the world which
makes it so cool. The thing that really stands out is the drainage greats all
over the place to handle the run off from the mountains and the tropical
storms. It seems that just about every house has it own shipping container, I
guess this is where you put your worldly possessions when the weather turns
bad. It was only last October that beached half a dozen ships onto the shore.
