Hi there,

Well, we did try to get to Santo Domingo. But shortly after we left, the forecast 15-20 knotts of wind from the SE turned into 20-25 knotts from “right on the nose”. As a result, when our forward speed dropped to 2.5 kts we decided to call it a day and head back.

Since then the winds have stayed fairly strong from the east, so we are staying put until they ease up a bit.

We have moved into a small marina here, so have access to water and shore power.

Will send an update when we are ready to move off again.
