Day 15 - Ships!

Everyone Fine! Weather now is hot and sunny with
light winds.
After 2 good days sailing, the winds have reduced a
little and are forecast to reduce further tomorrow. So a day or 2 of slow
sailing seems on the cards. The forecast does however show the winds strengthing
again on the 1st Jan so we should be able to catch up on any lost
mileage.
We sighted 2 ships earlier this morning. The first
we have seen since Day 2. So I guess it is a sign that we are approaching
land again. I called up the 1st ship on the VHF (a tanker on the way to
Nigeria) to ask for a weather forecast. The very nice Radio Officer
went and got a copy and read it out to me.
Not much else to report. Hope everyone is well out
there and enjoying the Christmas Break.
