16.18.28N 16.47.49W Well, we have finally dragged ourselves away from Our sail down was quite fast and a little boisterous as the winds are
quite strong right now. Just as we were approaching the coast we were hit by a
squall. We saw it coming so had plenty of time to take lots of sail in, but we
received a soaking in the process. We have now arrived on the French First impressions are that it is very French. Not much English spoken
(and my French now is very rusty). On the other hand we can finally get some
decent coffee and bread. We will probably head down to the Saints Islands, in a day or so as we
