                | 00.25.945 N 104.31.531 E Today we crossed the equator at 04.00 hrs in the
morning. It was uneventful this time. We are anchored not for a rest after two
days/nights sailing. One of the Dutch boats has gearbox failure and she can only
sail. We are one of three boats on standby for towing her when there is no wind.
Fortunately the wind has been good sofar. But we'll have to cross the busy
shipping lanes in Singapore, so we'll stick together and tow the boat all the
way into the marina. We were sorry to say goodbye to so many great
people as the rally has come to an end. We have had a great time, learned a lot
about Indonesia and enjoyed some fantastic food. We hope the wind will be kind to us for a couple
more days. The plan is to arrive in the marina in Singapore on the 18th October.
We will then have to find a place to leave Sea Topaz and book flights
home. |
