First blog at sea for me! I know it's what you've all been waiting for : the Saki cum Taki literary mixture of wit and debonnaire from the seafaring cyber fingertips of Oscar Nowak. The last ten days have been full of activity. Boson Brooke hums as he works, "The good ship's name was Ebeneezer, all we did was scrub and clean her'. Sometimes it seems that way, but the old addage - A Happy Ship is a Clean Ship, rings true.

Blogmeister Donald (where's your troooosers) has read and re-read every manual onboard. We're getting there. Changed the oil in the Volvo Penta 4 cylinder diesel engine after it's first 50 hours of use. It is serving us proud as there has been little wind. Biscay was calm and sunny after the ferocious gales and storms that whipped through last week. - OSCAR

Bayona Yacht Club - we moored in their marina

Oscar eyed the local Spanish talent.......until he discovered she was pregnant!!

Back at the Yacht Club Oscar got pie eyed

Back at the yacht Oscar tried to focus.

So onwards, with beautiful Bayona behind us. Skipper Moore looking forward to the dancing girls and casinos further down the Portuguese coast ;-) and the rest of the crew picking up the Birmingham screwdriver now and again, and getting used to night shifts and sea life.
