Made it to the marina in Split yesterday lunch time. Saw the sites of Split in the afternoon and evening. Had a lovely dinner with Croatian wine from the island of Brac.

A storm came in last night which wasn’t due to Tuesday, so glad we were in the marina. Nevertheless, didn’t get to bed till 3am as securing the boat as we were on the outside of the line of boats so winds were hitting us hard. Luckily the boat was ok but we did see a number of boats that did not come out of it so well. Two 200ft superyachts at prob £50m each were not so lucky as they both pulled their moorings and slid into a 60ft motor cruiser. Still, it’s the first rain we’ve had since July.
