Arrived in Mourtos on mainland Greece at 1pm Tuesday, joined by Anna and Rob. Have lovely time with good weather, swimming and diving.

Arrived Lakka on Paxos yesterday about 2pm from Moutros. Fab weather. Lots of swimming and Andy dived with Rob.

Anna and I spotted a deadly sting ray while snorkelling around the boat. Bravely we took a second look to see it had a chain round its tail…..and called it an anchor.

Not so good today. Force 6 weather has made us all roll around and watched the other boats bounce off each other. Much stress over anchors space  as only the mad left here this morning (about 2 boats) and the desperate (about 9 boats) turned up to get out of the waves. Calming down now which is good as it will allow the take away Pizza to settle down and the drink won’t spill.

The boat with flag of no nationality (we can’t work out a red background with 4 pointed white snow flake) has reset its anchor on the hour each hour since 9am. Not surprisingly they have an anchor the size of a toothpick trying to hold a 44 ft boat, but as they’ve found another anchor hopefully they won’t bump into us tonight.

Andy didn’t managed to get our of his pyjamas til 3pm today as he has been on high alert making polite hand signals to the many boats who have tried to put their anchors over ours. He did make friends with a nice dutch man. Tough day at the office.

Tomorrow will be interesting when the many entwined boats try to separate their anchors and the main meters of chain that go with it. We have 35 meters of chain out and son far count 2 boats crossing over it.
