Motor sail South East 56 miles to Rocella a full marina built along an otherwise long beach coast. Beautiful vineyards and fields rise behind the coast to distant mountains. Marina entrance has a history of silting so we chat on CH14 with Francesco the port mgr. who send out an inflatable to lead us in. No depths less than 3 ½ metres encountered.

Bicycle into town which is about 3 miles South of the marina to sort out our internet service with some success. Dinner at a large Pizzeria in the marina. Great value. Hundreds of people show up many ordering their metre long pizza.

To bed early as it is 90 miles to Syracusa tomorrow.
