Nice sail in an unforecast east wind 10 -18kn up to Vela Luka on the west
end of Korcula. Went stern to the town dock (210KN + 100KN for water &
juice). Only one boat there at 2:00 a dozen by evening but space still
available. Bay is pretty. Town is nice enough but nothing particularly
quaint. Looks a bit more recent in it's build than Korcula or Hvar.
Restaurants rather generic.
Noticed a very nice bay Ulva Gradina to the north west of the entry, about
a dozen boats anchored, 5m depths, that looked a very attractive alternative
to town as long as there was not much of a west wind. I suspect a strong
west wind would kick up into the harbour as well however.
