With regret we left the lovely bay and floating bar and went to explore the
east side of the island as we move towards our destination in Bracuhy (we have
to find a marina to leave Awelina for a while we return home). It’s possible to
anchor almost anywhere so we headed into a small bay for lunch and a swim, then
anchored for the night on the north side of the island in a bay (between it and
Isla Macaca) so we will have a shorter distance to go tomorrow. Being Sunday
afternoon everywhere was full of motor boats but at nightfall these all
disappeared and the anchorage was left to four sailing yachts, the most we've
seen anchored in one place since Falmouth.
