Tuesday 24th July - Longyearbjen and photodiary from our trip
We are currently back in Longyearbjen having unexpectedly lost Peter from the crew to a pressing personal situation; he's taken a plane back to the UK and we hope that his travels are safe and short. Below are a selection of pictures from our far north adventures - the days have passed quickly and eventfully - we are all wondering what it will be like to experience our first nightfall - particularly James and Fiona who have really had only dusk since around the 1st of July. Today will be spent doing the chores and paperwork with a passage plan for heading south to Tromso hopefully tomorrow if the weather window is there for us to move off safely. The blog will hence shrink again to daily txt updates until we can sign back into a broadband internet carrier in Norway. Pulling up the kedge in Trygghamna after the windlass malfunctioned
