It was also the summit meeting place for George Bush snr and France's president Mitteraund re the gulf war.
Lissy enjoyed the visit and we all liked the smell of the rum
The old Plantation house had been restored and the dining room is where the presidents had their lunch
There was a lovely walk through the plantation with lots of lovely plants and flowers
Lissy and I standing in front of the sugar cane which is what rum is made of'
And at the end you were able to sample the rums, John liked this!!!
