Another character in Union was Russell, locally known as the medicine man. He lives a simples life with no frills and collects shells to sell to visitors. He also grows Aloe Vera plants which he sells. I bought both!! He also has his own little island, but does not seem to have any facilities. When I visted he asked if I had any newspapers or national geographic mags. I hadnt, but promised to do my best to bring some when i visit again with Lissy.
