1100 this morning we were doing well under Bertha
with a very respectable 7kt downwind. Unfortunately its pretty
uncomfortablesince the sea is a bit confused - in fact,it was all night as
well. At 1600 yesterday we hoisted the Parasailor and off we went! A new
record for us of 15kt was achieved about 3am and it was all getting a bit too
exciting so we took it down in an attempt to get some sleep. I'm just
considering putting it back up but waiting for the wind to moderate just a
bit. Beef stew for dinner tonight and fresh bread in the machine already!!

We saw a boat in the middle of the night - quite
close but he didn't want to chat on the radio :( There's another one off
the port bow as we speak - may even be the same one as he does not speak
either!!
