Favourable wind continues and averaged nearly 6 knts last night.  H "accidently" threw our last bit of heavy fishing line over in frustration from lack of success, so downsizing to spinner today.  Although we haven't caught anything yet, thinking about catching something is on our minds a lot, good to always be suprised not to have something on the other end.  However we found our friend the flying-fish's eye this morning, about 6ft up the mast!  Quite impressive point of impact...

Other things of note to the crew - the open-air bathroom (aka cockpit) is great.  Rolling around the middle of an ocean, getting naked and bucket showering or going for a No 2 while watching the sun set on the horizon (again in a bucket but a different one i hasten to add) is an awesome experience!  Best to remove images of big swell and any notion of bucket reflux though!  ;)

3 card excrement shuffle (shithead to the non-gentleman sailor) tally will suprise many i'm sure, 10 (H) : (J) 5.  Best to keep the skipper's ego going early in the trip i suppose.

500 miles behind us; 1300 ahead.
